“Global Initiative ‘Know ALL’ Aims to Increase Awareness and Support for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Patients on World ALL Day 2024

Friday 23 August, 2024 – This year, the global initiative ‘Know ALL’ is launching their campaign ‘All questions answered’, with a focus on improving the quality of life for patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The campaign aims to raise awareness about the disease and educate individuals on various aspects, including factors that can influence survivorship, accessing community support, and managing stress, anxiety, and depression.

“We understand that each individual has different lifestyles and priorities, which is why we have made sure to provide a variety of simple and cost-effective ways for people to get involved in this year’s campaign,” said a spokesperson for ‘Know ALL’. The first step to join the campaign is to visit the Resources webpage. For those who prefer to use social media, there are multimedia files available for download and sharing using the hashtags #KnowALL #WorldALLDay. Alternatively, individuals can download and print a sheet of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to display at home or share with their family, friends, or colleagues. Even for those with limited time, showing support is still possible by sharing the World ALL Day 2024 graphics and resources on social media using the hashtags #KnowALL #WorldALLDay.

‘Know ALL’ is a global education and awareness initiative dedicated to providing ALL patients and caregivers with the necessary information, resources, and support to cope with the disease. The vision and mission of ‘Know ALL’ is to increase ALL knowledge worldwide and develop community-based initiatives to overcome current and future challenges. The initiative is supported by a dedicated and experienced global ambassador group consisting of patients, caregivers, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives. Their role is to propose awareness initiatives, provide concepts for support and education resources, share their advocacy experience, and endorse materials before circulation among the ALL community.

The ‘Know ALL’ initiative is made possible thanks to the support of its funders: Amgen, Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Kite Pharma, and Syndax. All content is independently developed by SES in collaboration with the expert ambassador group, with no influence from the funders.

‘Know ALL’ is brought to you by Scientific Education Support (SES) in collaboration with the Acute Leukemia Advocates Network (ALAN). SES is a medical education provider that connects healthcare professionals and patients through open-access, science-driven, unbiased disease education using various communication channels.
