BridgeHead Software Joins AXREM to Advance Digital Innovation in UK Healthcare

Last Updated on: 19th December 2024, 07:38 am

BridgeHead Software, a prominent provider of healthcare data management solutions, has announced its membership of AXREM, the UK’s trade association representing diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT, and care equipment suppliers.

This membership reinforces BridgeHead Software’s dedication to supporting both the NHS and private healthcare organisations by providing innovative solutions that enhance clinical efficiency, mitigate risks, and maximise the value of patient data.

A British company with over 30 years of expertise, BridgeHead is entirely focused on healthcare. Its flagship solution, HealthStore®, a Clinical Data Repository (CDR), integrates seamlessly with systems such as EPR, PACS, LIMS, and RIS. HealthStore enables healthcare providers to consolidate data from disparate live and legacy systems into one unified platform. By breaking down data silos, it facilitates secure, interoperable, and rapid access to patient information, benefiting both clinical care and secondary uses like research.

As a member of AXREM, BridgeHead will contribute to the Imaging IT and AI Special Focus Groups, sharing its knowledge to help shape the future of digital healthcare.

Jim Beagle, President and CEO of BridgeHead Software, said:
“BridgeHead is excited to join AXREM and work closely with its members to support healthcare providers across the UK.

“AXREM plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between suppliers and the NHS all in a bid to leverage best-of-breed technologies that deliver tangible benefits to support the triple aim of better health for populations, better care for patients, and lower costs. We look forward to sharing our expertise in data aggregation and management, interoperability, and cyber resilience, as well as learning from others in this dynamic sector.”

Sally Edgington, AXREM Director, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome BridgeHead Software to AXREM and are confident they will make a valuable contribution to our Imaging IT and AI Special Focus Groups. BridgeHead brings deep expertise in healthcare data management and a strong commitment to supporting the NHS in their digital transformation journeys. We look forward to working together to enhance innovation and efficiency across the healthcare sector.”

Through its involvement with AXREM, BridgeHead seeks to champion the modernisation of healthcare technologies, helping providers enhance operational efficiency, minimise risk, and achieve improved patient outcomes.
