Bluewater, a globally acclaimed pioneer in water purification and beverage solutions for residential, commercial, and leisure applications, has made a significant impact on the UAE and Middle East market following its successful participation at the Dubai World of Coffee trade show in early February.
The event provided an outstanding platform for Bluewater to introduce its state-of-the-art products and sustainability vision, attracting keen interest from coffee industry experts, UAE businesses, and international media. The brand’s success was underscored by winning the Best New Product award for its game-changing Bluewater Café Station.
One of the highlights of Bluewater’s presence was the debut of its innovative Café Station, which was recently acknowledged as a 2024 ‘Best Buy’ for specialty coffee venues by The Caterer Magazine. Touted as the future of coffee industry water solutions, the Café Station attracted a remarkable number of visitors keen to explore its advanced purification capabilities. The positive feedback from industry professionals reinforced Bluewater’s standing as a go-to provider of water solutions for coffee shops, Horeca businesses, and consumers across the Arab region.
Working closely with its UAE distribution partner, NIA, Bluewater’s presence at the trade show further strengthened its influence in the local water sector. Kamran Khan, CEO of NIA, shared his enthusiasm for Bluewater’s growing recognition in the market:
“We are thrilled to witness the overwhelming response to Bluewater’s solutions. The engagement at World of Coffee Dubai has reinforced Bluewater Brand’s leadership in sustainable water purification and beverage solutions, marking a significant milestone in our joint journey to provide pristine drinking water across the region.”
Beyond its exhibition stand, Bluewater made a noticeable contribution to the event by installing its City Station water dispensers—featuring two large 55-inch digital signage screens—at strategic points throughout the venue. These stations provided thousands of attendees with free purified drinking water, actively promoting the use of reusable bottles and reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainability. This initiative further demonstrated the shared dedication of Bluewater and NIA to reducing single-use plastics and encouraging sustainable hydration solutions.
Bluewater’s sustainability efforts have also led to its official affiliation with Dubai Can, a pioneering initiative led by the Crown Prince of Dubai that aims to minimise plastic waste by encouraging the use of refillable water bottles. As a newly listed supplier on the Dubai Can website, Bluewater has taken a major step in solidifying its position as a key contributor to the region’s sustainability movement.
Kamran Khan spoke about the significance of this collaboration:
“Dubai Can’s invitation for providers like us to become exclusive suppliers of water filtration systems is a testament to the quality and sustainability of the Bluewater solutions. By signing up, we have joined a cause that directly contributes to reducing single-use plastics around the city.”
Bluewater’s Founder and CEO, Bengt Rittri, recently named a top 2025 ecopreneur by the UK’s Sublime lifestyle magazine, also expressed his pride in supporting Dubai Can:
“We are deeply honored to be associated with and committed to this sustainability initiative spearheaded by the Crown Prince of Dubai. It’s an important city-wide movement that champions a refill culture, reduces plastic waste, and safeguards our oceans and marine life for generations to come. Our goal is to help provide residents and visitors in Dubai with safe, great-tasting drinking water while driving a culture of refill-conscious consumerism.”
With its success at the World of Coffee trade show and a growing presence across the UAE and Middle East, Bluewater is set to lead the transition towards sustainable, high-quality water solutions in the region. As the company continues to expand, its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and consumer health remains at the heart of its mission.
