Learnd Acquires BGES Group, Expanding Reach and Resources in the UK Energy Management Industry
London, 27 February 2024 – Learnd, a leading provider of energy management solutions for non-residential buildings, has announced the acquisition of BGES Group, a well-respected BMS and energy solutions provider in the UK. The acquisition, completed on Tuesday 27 February, 2024, further solidifies Learnd’s position as a leader in the industry, with an expanded reach and increased resources to meet the growing demand for energy and carbon reduction solutions.
Based in Sheffield, UK, BGES Group has a long-standing reputation for providing effective BMS and energy management solutions to thousands of customers across the UK, with a strong presence in Yorkshire, the Midlands, and London. By joining forces with Learnd, BGES Group will have the opportunity to further expand their efforts and serve a wider range of clients throughout the UK and Europe.
According to Gareth Barber, Majority Shareholder and Director of BGES Group, the demand for energy and carbon reduction solutions is on the rise, making the partnership with Learnd a strategic move. “By joining Learnd, BGES Group can increase our reach and resources to help meet that demand, better serve our customers, and expand our efforts throughout the UK and into Europe,” said Barber.
