Balqis Capital has revealed an exciting sponsorship agreement with England cricketer Liam Livingstone, solidifying its connection to the sporting world.
This partnership follows Liam’s signing by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2025 auction, where he was acquired for 8.75 crore.
The 12-month sponsorship will see Balqis Capital supporting the ICC’s top-ranked IT20 all-rounder. Livingstone, aged 31, recently led England as captain during the ODI tour of the West Indies in 2024.
Playing domestically for Lancashire, Birmingham Phoenix, and Pretoria Capitals, Livingstone also has IPL experience with Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings.
“At Balqis we have a huge passion for sport and we are excited to support Liam with this sponsorship deal,” said Arron Lilley, Balqis Capital’s Global Sales Director.
“We are always looking for ways we can partner with athletes on their journeys through sponsorship and collaboration. This also includes working with them on what we do best – sourcing private credit projects. We have worked with several athletes as clients over the years, we specialise in working with advisers and high net worth individuals, so it seems the perfect synergy,” he added.
What is Private Credit?
Private credit involves funding ventures or legal cases in exchange for a share of the success. It provides customised, quick solutions for businesses, making it ideal for high-growth companies or legal disputes with substantial costs.
