The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine marked Thanksgiving 2023 by paying homage to Ukraine’s defenders and the American people for their unwavering support during Russia’s extensive war. The accolade was presented at the AmCham Thanksgiving Dinner in the heart of Kyiv.

This significant event saw the participation of 240 leading executives from American and global firms, members of AmCham Ukraine, along with partners, allies, and influencers. The AmCham Thanksgiving during War 2023 served as a testament to the resilience and dedication to Ukraine’s resurgence, expressing gratitude to those aiding Ukraine’s pursuit of victory, and affirming Ukraine’s readiness for business.

Andy Hunder, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, acknowledged this support, stating, “At this time of Thanksgiving, we express our gratitude to the lionhearted defenders of Ukraine who fight for freedom and preserve the Ukrainian nation. We are honored to be inspired by their heroism, which shows the whole world what true bravery is. We thank the united people of the United States for the unwavering commitment and steadfast support of Ukraine on the path to victory. Together towards victory.”

Accepting the tribute on behalf of the people of the United States, US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget A. Brink, highlighted the resolute commitment of the American public, government, and business leaders to Ukraine, underscoring the enduring bond between the two countries. “AmCham companies remain invested in Ukraine and play a vital role in economic recovery. The Ukrainian government and the private sector, working together, can help Ukraine reform, create a vibrant economy, and realise the goal of a Euro-Atlantic future. Together we can make sure that Ukrainians have the freedom to decide their own future”, Bridget A. Brink, US Ambassador to Ukraine, remarked.

Since its inception in 2015, the Thanksgiving event by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine has become an annual tradition. It’s an occasion for AmCham members to recognise organisations, projects, or individuals for their exceptional contributions to Ukraine’s business and societal development, enhancing the nation’s international profile and prosperity.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine extends its gratitude to those who are actively involved in transforming Ukraine daily, steering it towards victory and improving its business environment.
