Packfleet (London-based all electric courier) is pleased to announce that Fern Wake has been appointed Chief Operating Officer.
Fern has joined from Cazoo, UK-based online car retailer, where she led a team of 1000 as Chief of Operations. She is an experienced COO and Director level business leader, bringing 15 years’ of experience to Packfleet’s operations team.
Starting out at Amazon, Fern has had an impressive career trajectory. Her time has been spent working across different disciplines of the business, with projects covering moving business sectors (both in-house and outsourced), and relocating operational sites.
Succeeding through a number of Operations Director roles, Fern has worked across a vast portfolio of big name online startups, including: Amazon, LOVEFiLM, MedicAnimal, Farmdrop and Cazoo. Fern’s impressive experience at these successful retailers indicates her passion for creating slick workflows and supporting sustainable team growth from startup to scaleup.
Specialising in the management of significant multinational operations and large teams within the tech and FMCG industries, Fern is bringing valuable insight to the business as it continues to scale rapidly.
