Newburyport (MA, USA) – Today, AdvancedDx Biological Laboratories USA Inc., a subsidiary of ABL Diagnostics S.A. (FR001400AHX6 – ABLD), a Euronext-listed company specializing in molecular biology assays and software for microbiology laboratories, announced the signing of a new agreement with VELA Diagnostics USA Inc. to expand their services.
This new agreement will benefit ABLD’s sister company, CDL Pharma (https://www.cdlpharma.com/), a clinical research organization (CRO) that manages biological samples in clinical research and provides central laboratory services for pharmaceutical laboratories, biotech companies, CROs, and biomedical research companies. CDL Pharma primarily operates as a “B2B type CRO.”
Through the use of a temperature-controlled warehouse in New Jersey, CDL Pharma, in collaboration with ABLD, will now offer dedicated logistics, biobanking, and storage services to their customers conducting clinical trials in the USA.
The execution of a new Logistics and Warehousing Agreement between AdvancedDx Biological Laboratories USA Inc. and VELA Diagnostics USA Inc. strengthens ABLD’s logistics capacity in the USA. The addition of a new biobank facility on the East Coast, with high-level logistics services specialized in biological sample storage and transport compliant with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP), will benefit ABLD’s growing Clinical Trials support business activity in the USA.
